The Knight Industries Two Thousand is the 
Foundation for Law and Government's most important asset in 
achieving its goals of fighting crime and protecting the innocent. 
KITT's functions include Turbo Boost, TrajectoryGuidance System, 
Oil Jets, Voice Analyzer, Microwave Jammer, Flame Thrower,
Infrared Tracking Scope,  and Smoke Screen.
KITT's body is made out of a virtually indestructible alloy
and is covered with a molecular bonded shell.

The "soul" of KITT is the Knight Industries CPU. KITT's 
artificial intelligence is so advanced that a unique personality
has emerged. This has allowed KITT to form a special bond 
with Michael, Devon, Bonnie, and April. 
Although his purpose is to fight criminals, KITT by nature is
benevolent and compassionate. KITT is programmed in such 
a way that his top priority is to protect human life, and thus 
he does not utilize lethal force.
